2025 Youth Award Recipients
The Central Ohio Kennel Club is so pleased to award two Youth Awards for 2025.
Please join us in congratulating our 2025 recipients!
Abigail Verdoorn was selected as the COKC 2025 Youth Award recipient in the 9 to 13 year category.

Veronica Chaille was selected as the COKC 2025 Youth Award recipient in the 14 to 20 year category.
We want to extend a big thank you to everyone who took the time to write and submit an essay. We loved reading about your school activities and the different activities you participate in with your dogs, along with your future plans. You should all be very proud of what you have accomplished and plan to accomplish in the future. It truly made the decision making process quite difficult for the Youth Award Committee!
2025 Youth Award
Central Ohio Kennel Club is very pleased to announce that we will now be awarding TWO $1,000 Youth Awards, starting with this year’s award. The awards will be broken into age groups so one award will be given for an entrant aged 9 years up to 14 years and one award given for an entrant aged 14 years up to 21 years. An announcement will also be published in the November Mid-Ohio Cluster premium. If you plan to submit an essay, please make sure to follow the instructions on essay content, how to submit, and meet the deadline.
